Intercom exports drop transcripts
Neither the CSV export nor the S3 data export includes conversation message content. Converight walks the Conversations API record by record, so what you archive is the actual transcript.
There is no version history
Edit a message, change a tag, delete a conversation — the prior state is gone from Intercom’s UI and its exports. Every Converight snapshot is kept, so the earlier version is still readable.
An export is not a backup
A manual dump living inside the same platform does not protect you from someone inside it. Your archive is written to WORM storage that no one — including us — can alter or delete.
